Required Degree: Master's required, PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Qualifications: An earned graduate degree in special education or related field by August 2024 K-12 special education school teaching experience as teacher of record Record of, or potential for, high quality university-based instruction Expert-level knowledge of the current literature, trends, pedagogy, and K-12 assessments in special education Expertise in data-based individualization and explicit instruction Understanding of state licensing processes and standards
Experience: Supervising and evaluating pre-service teacher candidates or teachers Teaching college-level courses Working and collaborating with general education teachers
