Description:The Special Education Teacher is responsible for case managing and implementing individual programs for students with special needs. They are responsible for planning and delivering direct instruction lessons and accommodations in the areas of academics, functional life skills, and behavior. The Special Education teacher is responsible for conducting IEP meetings and completing federal paperwork within the directed time frame. Finally, the Special Education teacher will supervise and train Paraeducators in directly supporting Special Education students.
