The Director of Related Services and Behavior Supports provides collaborative leadership for the Anchorage School District related services and behavior programs, which include school psychology, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adapted physical education, and the behavior team (B-Team). This position requires a valid Alaska teaching or administrative certificate and has a retirement association with the Alaska Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS).
A master’s degree in a related services area such as school psychology, speech-language pathology, special education, or a related field.
A valid Alaska type B or type F administrative certificate.
A minimum of five years of teaching or work experience in special education, including supervisory experience.
