Work with the Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education to support the Maryland State Department of Education "State Systemic Improvement Plans' for infants/toddlers and for school age students. Maryland's SSIP focuses on social-emotional growth in preschool age children with disabilities and on math performance for elementary age children with disabilities. Local staff use implementation science and data-based decision cycles to inform their practice. Opportunities for national connections as well as close coordination with school districts/programs
Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field mandatory. Doctoral degree preferred. Skills in writing, organization, data use are critical. Knowledge of implementation science, data use and decision cycles as well as familiarity with federal requirements for SSIP work is mandatory.
