The Executive Board of the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Superintendent. SEDOL is a special education joint agreement serving children with disabilities from thirty one member school districts in Lake County, IL. The special education cooperative and its member districts have a demonstrated reputation for excellence. SEDOL provides services ranging from regular classroom support to special day schools. The joint agreement has an annual budget of $66 million. The Executive Board is offering a regionally competitive compensation package.
Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2017. The new Superintendent will assume duties on July 1, 2018.
